ReStore Associate - Full Time

JOB POSTING – FULL TIME RESTORE ASSOCIATE

Habitat for Humanity Chatham-Kent seeks a highly motivated, organized and customer-orientated ReStore Associate to help support its retail & product donation program.

Habitat ReStore is a social enterprise retailer that accepts and resells donations of new and used furniture, appliances, décor and home improvement building materials. All profits from our operations fund the Habitat for Humanity CK affordable homebuilding efforts.

Qualifications:

• At minimum, the incumbent will hold a secondary school diploma
• Ability to lift up to 70lbs consistently and repetitively.
• Capable of standing for extended periods of time
• Warehouse and retail experience an asset
• Self starter
• Great customer service skills
• Team player
• Strong communication skills, with an ability to lead and motivate volunteers
• Must be able and willing to work regularly scheduled Saturdays
• Provide a police check
• Valid drivers licence

Job Responsibilities:

• Customer Service
• Accepting donations from the public
• Product merchandising on the sales floor
• Processing donations and preparing them for resale
• Perform cash and credit transactions
• Other duties as required

Terms of Employment:

• 40 Hours per week
