Retail Merchandiser

Food Brokerage Firm looking for Retail Merchandiser

International Pacific Sales Ltd. (I.P.S.) provides sales and marketing for major food manufacturers across Western Canada.

We are looking for Retail Merchandiser to join us in the Winnipeg Manitoba Territory.

Based at our IPS Winnipeg office and travel is required to visit the stores our products are sold to. Hours are between 15 to 20 hours per week.

Salary is $18.00 per hour + mileage

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Visit stores and complete merchandising missions using the company’s app via phone.
• Fill out merchandising reports and send them back to the merchandising manager.
• Communicate with store personnel in case there are immediate questions or when launching a new product.
• Responsible for entering all required data and pictures into the merchandising system.
• Responsible for completing custom merchandising missions and reports as requested.
• Responsible for providing feedback to merchandising manager on store visits and overall market conditions within the field.
• Responsible to do product demos at store level if requested.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum high school diploma
• Valid driver’s license
• Microsoft Office knowledge including word, excel and outlook email as reports are required.
• Phone technologies include downloading apps, conference calls, and taking pictures.

• Customer service oriented, friendly, willing, and able to work in a team environment.
• Energetic, self-driven and motivated, friendly, customer service driven, team player.
