Island Beach Company is hiring seasonal, full-time Assistant Managers for our Cavendish location. The ideal candidate is business focused, detail oriented and enjoys assisting customers. We specialize in men’s, women’s and children’s clothing as well as specialty items and souvenirs. The season if from April to November , if you stay the season you will be rewarded with a retention bonus, TBD at time of signing and paid with your final pay.

Specific Duties
- Assume responsibilties of store operations when Manager is not present
- Opening and closing store
- Take pride in our store, participate in keeping the store stocked and tidy
- Keep a fun and inviting work environment for the other employees
- Operate computerized cash register
- Provide advice about merchandise
- Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce
- Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase
- Prepare merchandise for purchase
- Assist in display of merchandise
