Retail Sales Associate (Budtender) for Big River Cannabis

Calabogie, Ontario

Full-time, Part-time

$15 - $18 an hour (based on experience)

Big River Cannabis is looking for a part time associates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome and at ease in our store. Your role will include helping customers by presenting products, answering questions and making recommendations to meet customers’ needs. A positive, inviting personality that is committed to delivering an excellent customer experience will make you stand out for this role. Onsite training will be provided to the successful candidates.

Responsibilities:

-Greet and direct customers

-Provide accurate education and information about product features and appropriate use, pricing and other information as required

-Inform customers about specific benefits and outcomes of products

-Coordinate with the rest of the Big River Cannabis team to provide excellent customer service

-Provide customer feedback to the store manager

-Stay up-to-date with new products/service

-Remain knowledgeable of trends and support the Big River Cannabis brand

· Qualifications:

-At least 1-year experience in a retail environment

-An excellent communicator

-Flexibility to work various shifts (Friday 12-4 PM, Saturday and Sunday 11-7PM)

-Completion of secondary school (grade 12) or equivalent

-At least 19 years old

-Knowledgeable about cannabis and the cannabis industry

Conditions of employment:

-Possess a valid police criminal background check

-Successful completion of a training certification through CannSell Ontario, including receipt of the certificate of completion.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $16.55-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Calabogie, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
