Retail Sales Clerk

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in our retail store. Duties:

- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products
- Provide product knowledge and demonstrate features and benefits
- Upsell additional products or services to customers
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions and maintain a balanced cash drawer
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals

Requirements:

- Previous experience in Retail Sales is preferred but not required
- Bilingual skills (English/French) are a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone
- Ability to conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
- Organizational skills to maintain a clean and organized sales floor

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.55-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
