RETAIL SALES SUPERVISOR

Retail Sales Supervisor is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation and the success of the lotto booth.

Job descriptions/responsibilities:

1. Supervise and manage the booth.

2. Identify sales opportunities and create action plans to maximize sales potential.

3. Ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times, promoting a positive experience for customers.

4. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and satisfactory manner.

5. Oversee inventory levels, ensuring products are adequately stocked and displayed in an appealing manner.

6. Coordinate with the store owner/manager to manage stock replenishment and maintain adequate inventory levels.

7. Prepare and submit sales reports, and other required documentation.

8. Handle cash management responsibilities, including opening and closing registers, managing cash floats, and reconciling cash at the end of the day.

9. Uphold store standards for cleanliness, safety, and security.

Job qualifications:

1. A high school diploma is usually the minimum educational requirement or candidates with post- secondary education in business or a related field.

2. Previous Retail Sales experience in a supervisory or leadership position can be advantageous.

3. Effective time management and organizational skills

4. A solid understanding of sales techniques, and the ability to upsell products

5. Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems is often required for processing transactions and managing inventory.

6. Able to communicate in English is required. Should be able to provide clear instructions, communicate expectations, and handle customer inquiries or complaints.

7. Strong knowledge of the products or services offered by the lotto booth is vital.

8. A positive and approachable attitude with customers is essential and the ability to handle difficult situations and maintain composure is important for maintaining customer satisfaction.

Job details:

Terms of employment: Permanent employment - Full time 40 to 45 hours per Week
Employment Conditions: Whole day (Mall Hours)
Start date: As soon as possible.

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)
• Retail management: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Saint John, NB E2J 3W9 (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Saint John, NB E2J 3W9: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
