Duties:
- Oversee daily operations of the store
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
- Authorize return of merchandise
- Establish work schedules
- Sell merchandise
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
- Supervise office and volunteer staff
Skills:
- Proficient in sales management techniques
- Excellent phone etiquette skills
- Ability to develop and conduct training programs for staff
- Strong focus on customer service and satisfaction
- Experience in supervising a team effectively
- Skilled in administrative tasks such as record-keeping and reporting
