Role Summary
RATE OF PAY: $32.81/HR (After Probation period) Shift:Afternoons
The Paint Technician’s responsibility is to ensure good paint quality and to address trouble shooting when issues with application and robots occur. Systematic control of robot spray patterns, and interface with Engineering, Application team, Production and Maintenance to optimize yields.

Key Responsibilities
- Trouble shoot and maintain paint machinery and equipment, including calibration of bell applicators
- Implement preventative maintenance as required
- Observe & support production line robots, and relay observation to application team
- Review robot movement and paint delivery parameters to improve painted part quality and paint consumption
- Conduct root cause analysis and support the paint application team in making improvements to paint quality
- Reset robotic failures, KV, Flow & Limits (documents all failures)
- Ensure long term improvements to yield, customer concerns, warranty concerns & related costs
- Review application defects & equipment downtime issues
- Work with maintenance on spray equipment, robot control problems and continuous improvements
- Test and evaluate new products and equipment

Key Qualifications/Requirements
- Two year Automation and Robotics certificate required.
- Requires knowledge of paint materials, paint delivery systems, mechanical equipment, and down draft paint applications
- Proven critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills
