Roofing Laborer

Location: In-person Blockhouse, NS.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm (hours may change depending on the project)

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Roofer/Laborer to join our team at Nova Scotia Building Supplies. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our Installed Sales team, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, contractors, and builders in the community.

· Conduct in-home or on-site consultations with clients to assess their roofing needs and provide accurate estimates.

· Schedule and oversee installation crews to ensure timely and quality installations.

· Coordinate with other department heads to ensure smooth operations and effective communication between departments.

· Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as local building codes and regulations.

· Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of various roofing systems.

· Work with a team to ensure roofing projects are completed within a specified timeline and quality standard.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Minimum of 2 years experience in Installed Roofing.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work at various heights.

· Endurance for prolonged periods of outdoor work in different weather conditions.

Salary: $30,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
