Job Summary
Room Attendants are responsible for keeping the hotel rooms, hallways and common traffic areas in a clean and orderly condition for overall customer satisfaction while promoting positive interactions with guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Promotes positive customer relations by providing prompt, courteous and efficient service to all patrons and guests
- Helps other team members on large duties
- Stock and fill caddy cart with supplies
- Handles all guest personal belongings with care
- Delivers all lost and found items to the Housekeeping Department office
- Ensures valuables and personable belongings are not disturbed, touched or left unattended
- Cleans room, sitting area and bathroom to the highest standard level
- Remakes bed(s), replaces terry, and organized closets and drawers as necessary
- Restocks and sets toiletries in standard format
- Cleans coffee pot and replace used condiments
- Complies with confidentiality and privacy guidelines and practices Health & Safety guidelines
- Other duties as deemed necessary or as directed for the overall success of the hotel
Qualifications and Requirements
A strong teamwork attitude with initiative and motivational skills accompanied with prior experience in house cleaning, building housekeeping or property management is required. Attention to detail, thoroughness and strong work ethic is needed.
Physical Responsibilities
Physically you need to be able to bend, lift, move and operate equipment at various heights on a day to day basis.
