About the Opportunity


The Rotation Design Advisor provides high level analytical support and consultation in support of rotation management. Utilizing advanced mathematical and reasoning skills, the Advisor is responsible to analyze rotations for the purpose of design, development, maintenance, modification, quality, integrity and sustainability. This includes educating stakeholders on rotation functioning, and promoting rotation changes and tools that add value and support to the organizations strategic initiatives. The Advisor facilitates change, and advises on best practice with input from various stakeholders to achieve optimal results.


The Rotation Design Advisor applies in-depth knowledge of the processes, policies and procedures to provide support and guidance, and resolve issues. The Advisor identifies and helps management to plan for short and long-term rotation needs. This includes educating Managers on rotation functioning, promoting rotation changes and tools that add value and support the organization’s strategic initiatives, and working with partners to develop a state-of-the-art rotation system.

About You


We would love to hear from you if you have the following:


  • Undergraduate degree in Business Admin or a related field required. (i.e. Office Administration, Human Resource Management, Industrial Engineering, etc.)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience building and optimizing schedules, including Master Rotations required
  • Demonstrated use and application of collective agreement language required.
  • Minimum of 1 year financial, statistical or reporting experience preferred
  • Minimum 3 years’ related experience using a scheduling systems (or equivalent) in a unionized environment required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Certificate or experience in Rotation Optimization preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required
  • Knowledge and experience working in health care (clinical or non-clinical settings) required
  • Demonstrated facilitation and presentation skills
  • Must have strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Must have strong leadership, interpersonal and team building skills.
  • Must demonstrate a strong commitment to customer satisfaction

Hours


  • Permanent Full-time position; 75 hours biweekly
  • 2 positions available
  • Monday - Friday
  • Travel to various sites may be required


Compensation and Incentives


$27.62 - $34.53 Hourly


Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
