- Rooming patients for physicians, triaging calls, injections re: B12, allergy serums, immunizations, etc, ear flushes, assist with biopsies, procedures as needed.

- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, renewed annually
- A commitment to optimal standard of nursing care within the centre’s environment, serving patients of all ages
- Provide current Basic Cardiac Life Support certificate
- Demonstrate a commitment to continued nursing education and support for the College of Nurses Quality Assurance Program
- Membership in the RPNAO (malpractice insurance recommended)
- Demonstrate punctuality, timely arrival for daily preparations
- Team player, assist others as necessary
- Handle records with care and confidentiality
- Ability to handle, label and package patient specimens
- Identify unsafe situations and report to the Manager
- In absence of nursing duties, participate in administrative duties.
Supplies
- Use equipment and supplies in a cost effective manner. Seek assistance for training when required.
- Ensure tidying of rooms at the end of shift. Ensure rooms are restocked at a regular point throughout each week.
Qualifications (other)
- Computer knowledge with EMR(PS Suites) an asset
- Organized, ability to complete work within time frames
- Professional and courteous phone manner
- Team player, willingness to assist others
- Ability to work under pressure / urgent responses
