S2324-99 INTERNAL Assistant Custodian - Glendon School

We are seeking a part-time (0.75 fte) Assistant Custodian to commence July 2, 2024. The assignment involves assisting the Head Custodian and working after school hours for 6 hours per day, Monday to Friday.

Glendon School is located in the Village of Glendon with approximately 200 students in Kindergarten to grade 12. Glendon School provides a stable, safe environment for students to come and learn the knowledge and skills needed to advance in our ever changing world.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Perform a variety of custodial and maintenance duties essential to maintain the cleanliness and care of the school facilities

Monitor and report meter readings

Inspect grounds, play equipment and structures

Preference will be given to applicants who have:

Physical ability to do the required work

Ability to communicate respectfully and professionally with all levels of school personnel and students

Ability to work in a team environment

Committed to building an atmosphere of trust, competence, confidentiality and positive service to the school and community

Previous CUPE custodial experience
