SALARY: $48,672 to $68,042 per year (Pay Band 3) (Based on 37.5 hours per week)

JOB PURPOSE:

The Coordinator of Volunteer Resources is responsible for managing the day to day activities of the department including coordinating volunteer activities and departmental programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A university degree in a related field.
• Must have two years of related experience including some supervisory experience.
• Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
• Ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Good work record.
• Written and spoken competence in English is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Coordinator of Volunteer Resources is responsible for:

• Overseeing the volunteer program and evaluating its success
• Recruiting, supervising, training and supporting volunteers
• Supporting the staff who work with volunteers
• Co-ordinating the delivery of specialized training programs for volunteers
• Participating in the development and expansion of volunteer resource base and volunteer opportunities.
• Ensuring that volunteers receive informal recognition
