Sales / Delivery Driver

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced person who could split their time between Sales and being a Delivery Driver to join our team. In the sales role you will be responsible for making phone calls, following up on leads, taking orders and generating new business. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting meat products to customers. This position requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and a strong attention to detail.

Duties:

- Generate and follow up on sales calls

- take orders and ensure they are logged appropriately
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles including vans, and box trucks,
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Communicate any delivery delays or issues to the appropriate parties
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations

Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

• Secondary School (preferred)

• delivery driving: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

• English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Class G Licence (preferred)
