Position Overview:
Develop market competitive product and pricing proposals to support sales objectives, working with the OEM Liaison Manager. Ensures accurate and timely launch of new vehicle special programs, promotions and pricing. Drive success in the Max! Standard Loan program by balancing Volume and Profitability. Provide operational support related to Sales programs to ensure a high capture rate. Support Retention by facilitating the development and launch of Loyalty Program in market. Work with Risk and Finance to secure NPI approval from HQ, as needed. This role manages one direct report; Associate Products, Pricing & Strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Program Initiatives
Coordinate and facilitate new product launches and existing product enhancements across departments, and specifically within the Sales Planning, Field Sales & Marketing Groups.
Lead the approval process by creating and presenting Sales proposals at the Product & Pricing Committee.
Represent the Sales Dept. in the creation and planning of all NPI’s (new product introductions) from a Sales perspective.
Support Marketing by providing the relevant content for Program communications.
Sales Strategy
Be the subject matter expert for new product launches and product enhancements.
Support HCCA’s Green Vehicle initiatives, coordinating with the OEM Manager to bring new ideas to market in response to shifts within the automotive finance sector.
Engage in competitive analysis to support strategy recommendations and tactical offers.
Standard Loan Program
Own and maintain the Max! Standard Loan program from Pricing to Execution in Market
Conduct monthly benchmarking and suggested Product enhancements or changes to remain competitiveness, as needed.
Maintain or exceed target penetration, volume and profitability.
Constantly identify opportunities to improve program competitiveness.
Retention & Loyalty
Support the development of Retention Offers across all brands, with input from the OEM Manager.
Track Retention uplift from in-market programs and offers.
Operational Support
Work with Operations and the OEM Manager to troubleshoot deals and new product implementations.
Leads relevant IT implementations, including support for UAT testing.
Reviews and ensures the accuracy of OEM subvention programs being Loaded.
Qualifications:
Expert skills w/ Excel, analysis tools and MS Office Suite
Expert level skills with financial calculation and business case development to support product actions.
Strong communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Excellent work ethic, time management and ability to prioritize.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, or marketing required.
5-10 years of related financial analysis experience
Minimum 5 years competitive sales analysis or sales planning experience
Experience in automotive sales and/or automotive financing
