Position Title: Sales Representative (External)

Location: Richmond B.C. (V6V 3C8)

Rate of Pay: Starting Minimum $50,000 per annum

Job Type: Full Time Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales Representative’s responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

· Selling to existing customer base, working with call sheets.

• Weekly collection of account balances from customers (distributing statements, credits, and ensuring all invoices are paid according to terms).
• Grow existing customer base using correct company protocol on new account sign ups.
• Attend regular sales meetings either virtually or in person and yearly March conference.
• Responsible for increasing sales and margin in existing customer base.
• Working on adding new product lines.
• Working with customers to setup weekly advertisements to continue to grow business.
• Selling protein specialties and Made at Centennial items.
• Understanding market conditions, product innovations and sales; share information with customers as part of value-added services

Qualifications and Skills:

· 1 to 2 years progressive sales experience in a similar sized operation; a combination of post-secondary education and experience will also be considered.

· 1 to 3 years of related industry experience required.

· Ability to communicate effectively with clients, customers, colleagues, and staff.

· Ability to work comfortably on computers.

· Self-motivated and able to work in, and outside of an office setting.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Ability and willingness to travel.

· Must possess a valid driver’s license.
