Job description

We are looking for a Sales Training Associate to deliver educational programs for our sales teams.

Sales Training Associate responsibilities include conducting skills gap analyses, preparing learning material and evaluating results after each training session. You will work closely with our salespeople and other customer facing organizations to identify challenges they face on-the-job and recommend ways to increase productivity. Ultimately, you will help increase the overall performance of our sales teams and ensure they have the skills to achieve their goals.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver effective training programs from a global model, for regional efficacy
  • Facilitate training workshops onsite and through remote training applications
  • Facilitate Onboarding and Everboarding, including maintenance of resources and content in the self-guided program.
  • Support Sales Enablement processes and projects surrounding sales meetings from content development to pre-work, creative and engaging workshops and effective pull through activities.
  • Conduct field studies to observe implementation and adoption of training initiatives and strategic positioning of programs
  • Conduct skills gap analyses to identify areas for improvement
  • Create and maintain sales team playbooks
  • Assist with the creation of content, curriculum, exercises, and events as part of enablement program delivery
  • Based on practicality and success, make adaptation for next reiteration of training library
  • Liaise with SMEs and organize preparation and training sessions
  • Maintain updated records of training material, curricula and costs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to build effective training materials to support strategic direction and programming (i.e. Marketing, Product Management, Analytics).
  • Oversee production of partner facing Sales Training assets including live training and collateral (videos, ppts, playbooks)
  • Collect feedback from training stakeholders through review sessions and surveys
  • Other tasks as deemed necessary to support the Sales Enablement process

Requirements

  • Proven 5 years+ work experience as a Sales Trainer or similar role
  • Solid communication and presentation abilities
  • Experience authoring business content for commercial use
  • Ability to effectively interface with cross functional and international stakeholders
  • Highly organized with superior attention to detail, natural curiosity and passion for excellence, process improvements, and willingness and interest in learning new technologies
  • Strong process management experience and accountability when meeting deadlines
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in MS Office Suite and SharePoint
  • Hands-on experience with e-learning platforms
  • Ability to manage the full training cycle, including in-person activities and web-based learning
