Salon Receptionist / Front Desk Associate

3 to 4 shifts per week.

Available days/evenings and weekends.

The Head Shoppe in Moncton is seeking a part-time Salon Receptionist/Front Desk Associate to join its team. The candidate must be passionate about the hair and esthetics industry, have retail or salon experience and excel at customer service in person and on the phone.

Job Description

The Front Desk receptionist/sales associate is to drive sales by improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service and communication. The sales associate will support the salon leader and desk team in ensuring all processes and service standards are followed at all times. Duties include: all front-end client relations (greeting clients, cashing out clients, assisting clients in the retail area, booking appointments, etc.), sales, following inventory control systems, and general cleanliness of the salon.

Skills & Qualifications

• Self-motivated.
• Strong interest in beauty and fashion.
• Strong customer service skills - in person and on the phone.
• Retail or salon experience.
• Comfortable working with computers, Internet/email and Microsoft Excel.
