The Role

The Sanitation Labourer supports operations by completing sanitation tasks as listed on the master sanitation schedule.

Your Impact

• Cleaning motor covers, drip pans and frames, wiping of equipment surfaces (i.e., tank lids, conches, etc.)
• Light cleaning of coolers and fridges
• Sweeping and mopping floors using a broom and mop, vacuuming rugs
• Operating a floor scrubber (used on large areas)
• Complete Allergen level cleans on equipment as required.
• Clean and sanitize common areas and restrooms.
• Hand wash and Sanitize moulds, utensils, and trays.
• Organize storage of chemicals and supplies
• Wash, dry and fold laundry.
• Empty waste and recycling bins
• Maintain high level of cleanliness with adherence to site GMP.
• Adhere to the color code/ 3 sink system.
• Works safely and follows legislated and established safe work procedures and practices.
• Other duties as assigned in adherence to the Donini GMP policies.

About You

• You have a minimum 1 year of experience as a Sanitation Labourer
• Good communication skills.
• Good follow up abilities.
• Problem solving and organizational skills.
• Results oriented with focus on efficiency and effectiveness.

Physical Requirements:

• Language: English (Preferred)
• Physical dexterity- ability to lift weights up to 50 lbs.
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Ability to bend, stretch, push, pull and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
• Must be able to visually inspect machinery.
