Job Brief
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Scrum Master to join our team. As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and coaching our teams to deliver high-quality software products. Your primary focus will be on applying Scrum principles and practices to ensure efficient project execution. Additionally, familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
• Facilitate Scrum Framework: Act as the go-to person for applying Scrum methodologies within the team.
• Timeline Management: Manage project scope and timelines effectively.
• Sprint Coordination: Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups.
• Agile Coaching: Coach team members on Agile frameworks and practices.
• Internal Communication: Facilitate effective collaboration within the team.
• External Communication: Serve as the point of contact for external communications (e.g., customers or stakeholders).
• Backlog Handling: Work with product owners to manage backlogs and handle new requests.
• Conflict Resolution: Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles hindering team progress.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet quality standards at the end of each sprint.
• Scrum Maturity: Guide development teams toward higher Scrum maturity.
• Product Ownership: Help create self-organizing teams that take ownership of the product.
• SAFe Integration: Apply SAFe principles where applicable, collaborating with other teams and aligning with organizational goals.
• Tool Proficiency: Utilize relevant tools such as:
o ServiceNow: Familiarity with ServiceNow for incident management, change requests, and IT service management.
o Azure DevOps: Proficiency in Azure DevOps for version control, continuous integration, and release management.
Requirements and Skills
• Experience: Previous experience in a Scrum Master role.
• Scrum Knowledge: Excellent understanding of Scrum techniques and artifacts (e.g., definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement).
• Agile Familiarity: Familiarity with other Agile frameworks (e.g., Crystal, XP).
• SAFe Awareness: Basic knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Communication: Strong communication and servant leadership skills.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to solve problems and resolve conflicts.
• Organizational Skills: Outstanding organizational abilities.
