REPORTS TO GUEST SERVICES SUPERVISOR
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
· Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
· High School diploma required and college degree preferred
· Second language preferred
· Able to work independently
TOOLS & EQUIPMENT:
· Computer systems, bell cart, office equipment, hotel software, telephone, 2-way radios, pager systems, switchboard, shuttle van
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Long hours sometimes required.
· Heavy lifting – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

DUTIES & FUNCTIONS
ESSENTIAL:
· Responsible for greeting guests with a warm welcome and smile
· Professionally answer all guest inquiries regarding the hotel services and the surrounding areas
· Must be effective at listening, understanding and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by guests
· Handle all guest luggage (individual and tour) professionally and with care
· Work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
· Be effective at handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary
· Provide parking assistance for our guests
· Open vehicle door for guests and assists them out of their car
· Ensure from entrance is clear from congestion for arrivals and departures
· Responsible for any room deliveries (room drops, guest messages, faxes)
· Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper business attire and nametag when working
· Maintain regular attendance in compliance as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel
· Comply at all times with standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
MARGINAL:
· Ensure lobby and working area are kept clean at all time
· Handle room changes
· Ensure front lawn and patio are cleared at all time
· Assist Guest Services Agents as necessary
· Other duties as required.
Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 6-8 months
Salary: $14.75 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
