Seasonal Employee Position - Corporate Services

Overview:
As part of the Department of Corporate Services, the City of Humboldt is seeking to fill a full-time seasonal position.
Under the direction of the Director of Corporate Services/City Clerk, the SEASONAL EMPLOYEE will be performing general administrative duties within City Hall. Such duties may include; front counter bill payments, answering phones, providing information, receiving messages, bank deposits, filing, accounts receivables, cemetery records, mobility van invoicing, and other duties assigned by Corporate Service Administration.
The position is typically 37.5 hrs per week, Monday through Friday. The position is anticipated to be approximately 4 months long with a start date in early May.  
Compensation:
This is an in-scope (union) position with the rate of pay of $18.27/hour (2024 rate).
Qualifications
Completion of Grade 12
Ability to provide record keeping, administration and filing.
Proficiency in Computer Software; such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and other accounting programs.
Team player with excellent communication and customer service skills.
