The R.M. of Souris Valley #7 is currently accepting applications for the position of Seasonal Full Time Grader Operator, with other duties and responsibilities.
Duties to commence April 1, 2024 weather depending, start date can be flexible.
The position is for Seasonal Full Time, typically commencing in April through October and may be extended by mutual agreement.
The successful applicant will work under the supervision of the Foreman.
Applicants must hold a valid drivers license and willing to obtain safety tickets such as First Aid/CPR, Ground Disturbance and PME.
Experience operating and maintaining heavy equipment is an asset but not required.
The R.M. is willing to train the right individual & training programs are available.
Duties will include but are not limited to maintenance of municipal roads with motor grader as well as snow removal and general equipment maintenance. Other duties may include mowing ditches with tractor and sidearm, culvert installations and assisting with general maintenance within the municipality.
