Description

The Town of Pilot Butte is currently seeking four (4) seasonal additions to our Landscape Maintenance Crew.  The Landscape Maintenance Crew is a seasonal full-time position from April to September with start date in late April.  This position is responsible for all aspects of landscape and grounds maintenance for the Town of Pilot Butte.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assisting in general maintenance of municipal parks, cemeteries and buildings.
- Lawn care maintenance, fertilizing, watering, weeding, irrigation maintenance, tree pruning, light landscaping.
- Street and road maintenance, spring and fall cleanup.
- Basic equipment maintenance.
- Other general duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Ability to work in all weather conditions while performing physically demanding work.
- Take pride in their work and put forward the best possible product.
- Be a team player and work well with co-workers under minimal supervision.
- Operate equipment respectfully and safely.
- Have the ability to work various shifts including weekends.
Required Experience
Experience in operating landscaping tools and equipment is required.  This includes push mowers, ride on rotary and reel mowers, chainsaws, string trimmers, hand tools, etc.
This position will require a valid drivers licence.  The successful candidate will be a team player and work mainly outdoors.  Clean drivers abstract will be required for the position.
Wearing CSA Approved footwear at all times will be a condition of employment and will be the responsibility of the employee to purchase.
