Overview

We are looking for driven students to work as a Summer Seasonal Packer, General Labourer or Warehouse Worker who want a value-added experience in plant operations at our food manufacturing facility in Cambridge, Ontario.

Compensation: $18.50 per hour

Responsibilities

Packer

· Fold and label boxes

· Pack sealed bags of product into boxes

· Stack boxes to build a skid

· Clean machines and area as needed

· Work in an ergonomically correct manner

General Laborer

· Provide packers with supplies needed

· Shrink wrap and remove skids from packaging area

· Some heavy lifting required

· Work in an ergonomically correct manner

Warehouse Worker

· Pick orders from a pick list to be placed on a moving belt system

· Load and unload trailers

· Work in an ergonomically correct manner

· Perform general clean-up/sanitation duties including facility and ground appearance

Shift

Must be available to work any of the following workweek and shift combinations

· 5 Day Workweek – (5 x 8 hours)

· 3 Day Workweek – (3 x 12 hours)

· Days (7am – 3pm), Afternoons (3pm – 11pm), Nights (11pm – 7am)

· Weekend Shifts: 7am – 7pm or 7pm – 7am

Qualifications

· Must be returning to school full-time in the fall

· Available to work up to and including Labour Day weekend

· Experience in a fast-paced work environment

· Able to work under extreme heat conditions and conduct heavy lifting· Effective communication skills

· Takes ownership of tasks assigned

· A team player!

· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

· Previous warehouse experience is an asset

· Must be able to work flexible shifts and workweeks

Salary: From $18.50 per hour

Day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Shift:

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
