Our client is looking for Secret Shoppers to go into assigned Convenience Stores and ask to purchase tobacco products to see if they’re ID’d as per provincial law.
The successful candidates will have a class 5 license in order to commute from location to location, as well as possess strong customer service skills and a mature demeanour.
This is a temporary position that arises on an as needed basis, where the typical length of assignment is 2-3 days. If you’re looking for a unique and flexible position, apply today!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Enter Convenience Stores and gas stations as assigned and ask to purchase various tobacco and nicotine products
- Hand out red or green cards based on whether you’re ID’d
- Complete and submit paperwork to show results per location
- Track kilometres travelled throughout assignment
Qualifications:
- Class 5 license is required
- Reliable vehicle is required
- Must be legally able to purchase tobacco products
Experience:
- Previous Customer Service experience is preferred
Skills:
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Conflict resolution
- Professional and mature demeanour
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Confident and self-directed
Base Salary:
- $18.50 per hour
- Kilometres reimbursed for routes provided
Work Hours:
- Dependant on number of locations provided (typically 2-3 days)
Additional Notes:
- This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
