Seed Manager

CLARK AGRI SERVICE is a family owned business based in Wellandport ON which provides inputs (seed, fertilizer, crop protection products) and custom application services to growers in the Haldimand, Hamilton-Wentworth and Niagara areas. We are looking for hardworking, resourceful individuals.

Role Overview:

Manage all operational aspects of the Seed Business Unit for a crop input retailer

Key Responsibilities:

• Purchasing / ordering / returns
• Logistics / Truck Scheduling
• Production Scheduling
• Pricing strategies and program implementation

Key Duties:

• Order seed in for customers
• Assist sales team with pricing for seed/seed treatment
• Ship seed out to customers
• Track inventory onsite and at off site seed treatment locations
• Invoice product out & apply all discounts
• Report all sales correctly & on time
• Understand and maximize all rebate opportunities
• Meet with suppliers to build/implement programs to add value to current product lines
• Communicate with customers on regular basis about deliveries and other logistics
• Support other managers in the office environment
