```Key Responsibilities```

  • Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of company financial records through the completion of the month-end and quarter-end close process.
  • Maintain, monitor and reconcile GL accounts including cash, bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, accounts receivable, accounts payable, accrued liabilities and intercompany and point of sale (POS)/system uploads. (as per client needs)
  • Calculate and prepare Payroll.
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports.
  • Identify issues and errors, investigate discrepancies and discuss with management to develop resolutions.
  • Communicate with governments regarding information requests, assessments and installments.
  • Work collaboratively and develop and maintain relationships with clients and team members.
  • Be the key point of contact for day-to-day accounting matters.
  • Other duties as required by management.

```Skills, Experience and Requirements ```

  • A minumum of 3 years experience of full cycle bookkeeping. Greater than 5 years is an asset but not a requirement.
  • Accounting or Bookkeeping diploma preferred.
  • Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Organized and able to multitask.
  • Good with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc).
  • Experience working with QBO.
  • Honest, trustworthy, dedicated.
  • A legal right to work in Canada.

Salary: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
