Property Management Division is innovative in our approach to building, growing and managing greener, smarter and longer-lasting infrastructure. We have an exciting opportunity in one of our key leadership roles within the Major Projects at the Capital Development Branch.

Reporting to the Major Project Director, the Senior Building Program Manager is an expert in leading teams, building strong working relationships, building construction and project management. The Senior Building Program Manager is responsible to ensure project managers are supported in their roles, client relationships are maintained, building construction projects are delivered, planning of projects is executed and your teams are supported. The Senior Building Program Manager also oversees the design and construction of major capital infrastructure, building maintenance and renovation projects as well as planning future capital projects and minor building maintenance or renovation projects of Yukon Government buildings throughout Yukon Territory.

Essential Qualifications (what we're looking for in your resume):

• A designation in engineering, architecture or project management or considerable experience as a project manager for capital infrastructure projects;
• Significant experience managing capital infrastructure projects from initial planning to construction, including development and management of scope, procurement, budget and schedule, preferably in the building construction industry;
• Experience managing employees, contractors and consultants;
• Experience leading and providing mentorship to a team of professionals;
• Experience with financial management (i.e. budgeting, planning, analysing financial data, procuring, etc.); and
• Experience working with First Nation governments.

Candidates with an Equivalent combination of education and experience will be equally considered.
