Are you a coaching professional who thrives on supporting individuals, teams, and leaders to adopt mindsets and behaviors that optimize their potential?

As a Coach with Edward Jones, you will partner with individual Financial Advisors and Branch Teams to develop strength-based strategies so they can deliver Human-Centric Complete Wealth Management while improving performance outcomes through effective Practice Management.

You will also Coach our field leadership team members to build capacity and deliver human-centric leadership, creating a place of belonging to achieve our growth and performance objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build relationships while conducting regularly scheduled one-on-one or team coaching conversations via phone or in person with FAs, branch teams, or leadership teams
  • Support Financial Advisors and Branch Teams to adopt the mindset and behaviors (competency and capability) necessary to deliver Human Centric Complete Wealth Management.
  • Discuss Practice Management strategies with FAs and Branch Teams by asking thought provoking questions and developing customizing coaching plans to achieve performance outcomes
  • Engage in purposeful practice activities to increase FA/Branch Team confidence and effectiveness
  • Support leaders to lead more effectively by focusing on leadership competencies such as communication, empowerment, change leadership, and motivation.
  • Build self and department coaching skills by engaging in and often leading development activities
  • Collaborate and partner with others in the Home Office and Field to deliver on Practice Management and support performance outcomes
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Coaching certification highly preferred (ACC, PCC, MCC)
  • 3+ years professional coaching experience (either as a professional coach or in a role with a significant coaching component)
  • Financial Services industry experience a strong asset
  • Knowledge of coaching processes and adult learning theory
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, performance management tools, and intranet
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal); fluency in a second language considered an asset
