About the Role
This position is primarily responsible for supporting fixture build and equipment manufacturing programs, including set-up and function testing.
Your Responsibilities
- Program, set-up, and operate CNC mills, lathe, and standard machine shop equipment.
- Install sensors, safety components, and low voltage wiring.
- Install pneumatic components and air distribution systems.
- Fabricate prototype parts, tooling, and fixtures according to given deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and inspect parts to meet customer requirements.
- Resolve fabrication and assembly problems, contribute to team efforts, and follow safety protocols.
Who we are looking for
- Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, including WHIMS.
- Forklift and Crane Slingers licenses or ability to pass tests.
- Strong experience with CNC mills, lathe, and standard machine shop equipment.
- Basic to intermediate computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs.

- Complying with OHSA and its regulations, always dressing appropriately and with the right equipment, and reporting all safety hazards, misdemeanours, and contraventions to supervisors in a timely manner.
- Never removing protective gear or devices, using equipment in a reckless or dangerous manner, or behaving with boisterous conduct.
- Over time required on a periodic basis
