About the role
Our growing team is looking for a Salesforce Senior DevOps!
The Salesforce Senior DevOps is a core collaborator to the release activities across the program, and the main contributor when it comes to Salesforce releases and deployment.
This position is part of our Platform Team, a transversal team of highly experienced professionals providing services to initiatives throughout the portfolio.
The technical landscape is composed of two closely related halves; a Salesforce-based implementation, and a Java-based microservices layer "wrapping" the Salesforce platform.
What you'll do here:
- Develop and maintain our Salesforce Continuous Integration pipeline and related tools.
- Conduct environment refreshes and setup activities.
- Conduct production deployments, including applying pre and post manual steps.
- Contribute to the overarching environment management strategy and release process.
- Contribute to source promotion activities, including code & metadata merges, throughout our global environments.
- Support the various implementation squads in their release-related efforts.
Profile sought:
- A driven and passionate professional with a keen interest for automation.
- A professional looking to transition towards the Salesforce ecosystem, or an experienced Salesforce developer interested in moving towards a DevOps engineering position.
- Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related degree.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in the field.
What you bring to the table:
- Experience with the Salesforce's CLI (sfdx and/or sf).
- Experience working in an automated deployment context, directly in a release-related capacity, a plus.
- Experience with automation tools, Jenkins (and Groovy development) or GitHub Actions a plus.
- Experience with version control systems, Git a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce-specific release tools, Copado a plus.
- Experience developing in Salesforce's Apex, a plus.
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English speaking colleagues across the country.
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
