Job Title: Senior Electrical Designer
Primary Job function: Plan, execute, monitor and closeout Projects ensuring Client satisfaction both internal and external
Essential roles and Responsibilities:
To deliver creative, detailed, and coordinated design solutions on budget and on time.
Work with team members to ensure projects stay on schedule and budget.
Required Skills:
Good communicator
Strong Intuitive and proactive manner with problem-solving mindset
Ability to concentrate on multiple tasks
Power systems design, lighting design and fire alarm design
Knowledge of AGI32 preferred along with building systems and calculations
Ability to review, interpret and apply building codes in different jurisdictions

Ability to identify potential risks and deal with them directly
Must have knowledge of current CEC/NEC requirements; knowledge of IESNA preferred
Building codes, Energy codes and lighting controls
Required Experience:
5 – 10 years working experience in the building industry with a background planning and executing projects as part of a project team.
· A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
· Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng), P.Tech, C.E.T. (10 years)
· Project Management Professional (P.M..) considered an asset
· Autodesk, REVIT, AutoCAD working knowledge and mentor team members/EIT

This requires you to pay great attention to detail, be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with other team members, client’s, and 3rd party vendors. You need to be a critical thinker and are encouraged to think outside of the box to find solutions for issues raised during the design process. Use your best judgment and do not be afraid of asking questions.
You will enjoy a fast-paced working environment and thrive on taking on challenges and on-demand requests. You will support other teammates and assist the project managers to ensure the projects stay on schedule and budget.
