Job Description

Aecom Mississauga is hiring a Senior Environmental Geoscientist.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Serves as top advisor on projects of large scope and complexity and is recognized as industry leader in the field.

  • Applies advanced or newly discovered knowledge and experience to resolve crucial issues and/or unique conditions within a technical specialty.

  • Designs and provides project vision for new products and applications that align with the organization's long-term objectives. Regional expert on providing leadership and guidance in a technical specialty, and serves as the organization's spokesperson advanced projects and programs.

  • Provides marketing and business development support and may have considerable interaction with clients. Primarily an advisory, not supervisory position, but may have a small number of direct reports.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in a relevant discipline (engineering, earth science, soil science, environmental sciences, etc.) + 12+ years experience in directing environmental and remediation projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ideally 20+ years experience in directing environmental and remediation projects

  • Experience with complex site investigation and remediation

  • Track record successfully filing Records of Site Conditions under O.Reg. 153/04

  • Track record of successfully managing client relationships

Additional Information

  • Sponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available for this position.

  • Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position typically is $140,000 - $185,000.
