Job Summary
Develops new software. Develops and directs software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a library of reusable UI components suitable for various projects, applications, and platforms.
- Translate front-end designs provided in Figma into functional interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks like ReactJS, TypeScript, Storybook, Lit, Web Components, or similar technologies.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and quality assurance teams to deliver top-tier user experiences.
- Experiment with emerging technologies, create prototypes, and conduct testing to explore innovative ideas.
- Engage in the complete software development lifecycle, including design, coding, code reviews, unit testing, automation, and bug fixes.
- Document and communicate technical specifications and best practices for the effective utilization of reusable components.
Qualifications
3+ years experience
Bachelor's in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- Proven track record in developing web applications and actively contributing to design systems.
- Demonstrated experience with user-centered designs, working closely alongside designers.
- Expertise as a JavaScript specialist, with recent proficiency in Typescript, React, Lit, Web Components, and similar technologies.
- A dedicated advocate for engineers as primary customers, committed to simplifying their work through the delivery of well-architected UI components.
- Good understanding of performance optimization techniques for UI components.
- Capability to work independently and thrive in a globally distributed team setting.
