Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Human Resources Generalist for our Human Resources department, the role is hybrid working from our Senneville location. With opportunities to work from home a few days a week.
The following are the key responsibilities related:
-Functioning as a senior level Human Resources professional and key contributor in both day-to-day and forward-looking projects and initiatives.
-Reviews and helps research, draft, review and manage sound human resource policies, practices and procedures that may be complex while ensuring they are clear, effective, and compliant and consistent with related legislation and organizational requirements.
-Responsible for performing detailed analysis of HR programs to enhance and optimize program performance and sustainability.
-Provides detailed analysis on Benefits (Health and Savings),and other pertinent benefit programs and investigates, actions and solutions escalated benefit issues.
-Participate in and deliver communications and information sessions to enhance employee awareness of benefits and scheduling ongoing learning sessions as needed.
-Oversee disability management for non-occupational injuries/illness including short and long term disability claims
-Deliver meaningful metrics, trends, key insights, and detailed analysis in all areas of HR Operations to help seek opportunities to drive innovation and process improvement.
Key Elements
We are looking for the following minimum qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Administration, or related field.
-5+ years’ experience in Total rewards, including benefits, compensation, and payroll.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
-Experience using an HRIS (Success Factors) including time and attendance 
-Dynamic and collaborative critical thinker with experience leading HR projects
-Experience working in a fast-paced environment, following processes and actioning requests in an accurate, timely and customer-centric manner with an bility to prioritize and meet deadlines 
-Ability to show insight and good judgment and provide sound solutions and decisions.
-Bilingualism (French/ English) is required with advanced verbal and written communication skills 
-High degree of accuracy, organizational skills and attention to detail 
-Ability to maintain confidentiality and to demonstrate integrity 
-Self-starter who works well with all levels of the organization 
-Positive attitude and willingness to work across a broad spectrum of HR functions 
-Ability to effectively plan and execute assignments independently or as part of a team

About Safety Assessment
Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance. From individual specialty toxicology and IND enabling studies to tailored packages and total laboratory support, our deeply experienced team can design and execute programs that anticipate challenges and avoid roadblocks for a smooth, efficient journey to market.  Each year approximately 300 investigational new drug (IND) programs are conducted in our Safety Assessment facilities.
