Job description

As Senior Manager, Network Operations and Security, you will lead a team specialized in managing networks, security and operations in cloud and on-premises environments. This role requires a minimum of 10 years of professional experience, ideally including participating in transitioning a team to the cloud. You will be responsible for operational strategy and team leadership while fostering a collaborative environment.

Your role

  • Team leadership: Lead a team dedicated to managing networks, security and operations in cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Operational strategy: Develop strategies to optimize the performance of DevOps networks, firewalls and pipelines in cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Transition to the cloud: Implement successful team transitions to the cloud and coordinate operations between cloud and on-premises environments, where possible.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work with other departments to ensure seamless integration of operations across the company.
  • Business intelligence: Conduct business intelligence activities to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and keep up with the latest technology trends with respect to cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Resource management: Effectively manage human and IT resources to achieve operational objectives in both environments.
  • Pipeline creation: Oversee the design, implementation and management of continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines in cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Documentation and reporting: Oversee the comprehensive documentation of network settings, firewall policies, DevOps pipelines, cloud and on-premises resources, incident reporting and cloud security measures.

You will be part of the Infrastructure, Operations and Strategic Vendor Management team in the IT sector, and will report to the Senior Manager, IT Infrastructure Evolution.

Prerequisites

  • Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing telecommunications networks and firewalls, including specific experience with Cisco and Check Point
  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols, security solutions, firewalls, DevOps and cloud security
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Ability to resolve technical problems
  • Relevant certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCSA, CCSE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, DevOps certifications), an asset
  • Ability to develop and implement effective operational strategies and experience in managing cloud and on-premises security
