Role Overview: We are in search of an exceptional Senior Full-Stack Developer who is deeply experienced in building sophisticated FinTech services. This role is designed for a tech leader who excels in backend development, API development & integration, and is proficient in managing essential AWS services. The perfect candidate will have an extensive background in developing platforms familiar with Typescript(Javascript) and experienced in Nest.js(Node.js), and familiarity with Next.js(React.js), and demonstrate a strong leadership capability in guiding development teams towards excellence in coding standards, design patterns, documentation, and unit testing.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain the backend of our cutting-edge FinTech platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, and seamless API development & integration.
• Define and standardise coding design patterns and documentation practices for current and future technical personnel.
• Lead integration efforts with the frontend team to deliver a cohesive and intuitive user experience across our platform.
• Guide and mentor the development team in adopting advanced practices in code review, design patterns, comprehensive documentation, and rigorous unit testing.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Manage and optimize our AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability of our services.
• Engage in continuous learning to incorporate the latest technologies and frameworks that drive innovation and improvement in our platform.

Qualifications:

• Over 5 years of experience in Full-Stack Development, with a significant focus on FinTech or related fields.
• Familiar with Javascript/Typescript.
• Profound expertise in Nest.js(Node.js).
• Have experience working with Next.js(React.js).
• Strong command over AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to steer development teams towards achieving high-quality outcomes.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and adeptness at working in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication skills and a knack for fostering teamwork.
• Commitment to on-site work in the Markham area.
