Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior NPD Manager for Tim Hortons EMEA & India, specializing in Coffee and Baked Goods. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the Product and Menu Strategy for the region. Collaborating closely with global, regional, and local teams, you will drive innovation initiatives across the coffee, beverages and baked goods categories. Based at our regional headquarters in Zug, Switzerland, you will lead the development and execution of Tim Hortons' comprehensive innovation strategy, ensuring local relevance while protecting and building the Tim Hortons brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive category growth by leading the development and launch of new and existing products in the EMEA & India markets, from concept to market launch, taking full ownership of the process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including regional and global stakeholders, to ensure alignment and successful execution of innovation projects.
  • Provide expert guidance and mentorship to local teams on product innovation, setting high standards, and conducting thorough consumer testing.
  • Manage and oversee the product approval processes, ensuring adherence to product standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive category development and adaptation in partnership with franchisees and suppliers, leveraging your expertise to create innovative and appealing offerings.
  • Utilize market research, consumer insights, and competitive analysis to validate product performance, identify key category insights, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, including franchisees, suppliers, and industry partners.
  • Support regional initiatives to optimize cost, maximize synergy between markets, and drive continuous improvement in product innovation processes.

Your skills & competencies:

  • At least Bachelor in BA / Marketing / Liberal Arts & Sciences / Food Science / Food Engineering / Nutrition. 
  • 5+ years of experience in innovation and product development within the coffee and/or baked goods industry, preferably in the EMEA markets, with a track record of delivering successful products to market.
  • Strong understanding of consumer marketing and consumer insights, with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Proficiency in analytics and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and drive innovation.
  • Strategic and commercial mindset with a focus on driving sales, growing the business, and maximizing franchisee profitability.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities, with the capability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Passion and deep understanding of coffee and beverages, with a deep appreciation for industry trends.
  • Fluent in written and verbal English; additional language proficiency is a plus.
  • EU/Swiss/Norwegian/Icelandic passport.
