Aboutthe role
As aSenior Operations Accountant, you'll ensure month end reconciliations, consolidation,analysis and reporting. Your role would include understanding the financialperformance and putting forth recommendations to improve business efficiency. You'lllead a small team of accountants and create a strong working partnership withthe Operations team.
You'llensure financials controls are established, policies are adapted andimplemented and contribute to process improvements. Facilitating the audits forthe department would be a part of the role.
This isa full time contractual (FTC) role for 18 months, reporting to the Finance OperationsManager.
About you
As anideal candidate you would be a designated accountant with at least 5+ yearsexperience in operational accounting preferably from a manufacturing or costaccounting background. Your strong financial know how, experience in working withmedium to big ERP systems and reporting of financial performance would beessential to succeed.
Your strongcommunication and stakeholder relationships, resilience and agility would setyou apart.
Thisrole would have a hybrid approach with at least 2 days a week, in the Vancouveroffice.
