Job Summary:
Canoil Canada, a leader in the production of specialty greases and lubricants, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Plant Operator to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the high-quality standards of our niche products, ensuring efficiency and excellence in our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor blending processes for oils and greases, ensuring product quality and consistency.
- Execute filling operations across various package sizes, adhering to strict safety and quality guidelines.
- Work on the packaging operations for greases, including labeling and preparation for distribution.
- Assist in warehouse organization and inventory management to optimize operations and space utilization.
- Operate forklifts and other machinery as required, maintaining a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the plant supervisor on various operational tasks, contributing to process improvement and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in plant operations, preferably in the greases, lubricants, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of blending and filling processes, with a focus on quality control and safety.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment, with relevant certifications preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the capacity to work independently when necessary.
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement in both operations and personal development.
