What is the opportunity?
To augment QA Team in Halifax to provide services for Manual and Automated testing of Web App, Web Content, Mobile, Performance and Accessibility testing to support Digital Platform Team's portfolio.
Develop, maintain and execute automation scripts for Digital Platform Projects, incorporating QTS Automation Solutions Service - Engagement & Operating Model
What will you do?
As a Quality Assurance Analyst you will be involved in Functional and Integration tests, manual and automation testing for Web and Mobile apps
Test case planning and review of existing scripts; Development of automation scripts; Test data preparation and SQL scripting
Support testing efforts during business UAT; Performance requirements gathering
Support performance benchmarking, testing and monitoring
Support integration with DevOps tools & automated build /deployment processes
Participate in agile sessions, daily standup. Assist with defect management and reporting
RBC Automation Framework - Enhancement & Refactoring; Automation solution and Automation Report Enhancement
Integration with Jenkins (CICD) - Enhancement; UI, API & DB Testing in all required applications; Jira, Qtest, Integration with Jira, Jenkins, Github, RLM and/or Helios for continued deployment
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
3-5 years relevant experience using test automation tools (Robot Framework, Selenium, qTest, Cucumber, etc) and ability to increase usage of automation to reduce testing manual lead times with a thorough understanding of continuous integration testing (including Agile methodology)
1-2 years of hands-on programming experience using scripting languages like Python or OOP languages like Java/C#.
Good understanding of REST API and ability to automate REST API testing.
Ability to generate and develop test cases from requirements and technical specifications.
Nice-to-have
Deep understanding of advanced Excel connectivity functions (Pivots, VBA)
Client onboarding experience
CSC or Finance degree/background is a plus
Basic understanding of Capital Markets is a plus
JMeter experience
