Role overview: As a Sr. QA Analyst you will be responsible for designing developing and executing test plans test cases and test scripts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects track and report test results and ensure the quality of software products. Additionally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Experience Level: 7 -12 Years

What you’ll do:

 

                Prepare Test summary Report and share the same for review/ Review the test results/test reports submitted by the test analyst.

                Gather requirements from the Business Analyst to understand the project, skill sets required.

                Prepare test plan covering timelines, resource (Man /Machine) deployment (How it will be tested).

                Gather inputs from the client (eg Types of testing, Development teams, Client managers etc).

                Identify the test scenarios based on the understanding of systems, interfaces and application.

                Create/Review the test scenarios (created by the Test Analyst) and RTM.

 

 

What you bring to the role:

 

  1. Finance QA should have extensive experience in account payable & receivables transactions, general ledgers, sales tax, cash entry,  journal maintenance, month to date transactions & Reporting tools.

  • General ledger (sales tax and broker fees )
  • General ledger (Premium)
  • General ledger (Claims)
  • General ledger ( cash entry)
  • Cheque printing reports
  • Direct bill - Broker commission statements
  • Broker bill
  • Summary reconciliation (Accounts receivable)
  • Direct bill ageing report.
  • Broker bill ageing report.
  • Company commission report
  • Claim payment -> Cheque printing/Template validation.
  • Refunds -> Cheque printing / Template validation
  • Cheque table validations
  • Bulk cheque printing
  • Payment validations
  1. Must have knowledge on Finance dumps.
  2. Good experience in Agile and well versed in standard QA processes.
  3. Must have good verbal and written communication skill.
  4. Good in JIRA, & TFS
  5. Preferred to have experience in insurance domain such as Commercial/ Personal auto and credit risk insurance.
  6. Preferred to have experience on different insurance products such as Guidewire.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week in a client office in Thornhill, ON location.
