We are looking for an Automation QA engineer to support RBI’s growing International Technology department. As anAutomation QA engineer at RBI, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through meticulous testing processes. The successful candidate will enjoy the challenge of a fast-paced, technically complex project.
Responsibilities:
- Creation and execution of automated test scripts.
- Automation using existing test automation framework and/or participation in creating a framework from scratch.
- Participation in code reviews to ensure high-quality test code and adherence to best practices.
- Conduction of detailed analysis of automated test results found through automated testing and support the development team with the identification, escalation, and resolution of related risks and issues.
- Use oftesting knowledge and experience to recommend leadership on the progress of testing activities.
- Work closely with Technical Leads and Project Managers to develop plans, schedules, and present time estimation for testing activities to be performed.
- Configuration, administerand troubleshoot software test environment.
- Continuouslyproviding ideas and feedback on Tech debt techniques to write optimized test case code.
Basic Requirements:
- At least 4+ years of experience as anAutomation QA engineer.
- Experience with e2e test automation with Cypressand TypeScript, WebdriverIO or similar.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experiencetesting Web front end, APIs and Backend.
- Experienceworking in an Agile environment.
- Experienceworking with GIT version control system.
- Proficiency in Jira, Zephyr, Confluence, or similar issue tracking systems
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experienceworking with native app automation.
- Experienceworking with CircleCI or any other continuous integration and continuous delivery platform.
- Experienceworking with Cypress Cloud.
- Experienceworking with headless CMS, especially with Sanity.
