The Regulatory Division (the "Division") of Bourse de Montréal Inc. (the "Bourse") utilizes various technology platforms to perform its regulatory duties and enable both Approved Participants as well as Division staff to exchange information and operate efficiently. As a member of the Systems and Data serviceline, and reporting to the Head of Technology and Innovation Strategy, the individual in this key role will play an integral part in our Salesforce system administration and Salesforce system changes from a business as well as a technical point of view.

Key accountabilities:

  • Act as a System Administrator for Client Relationship Management Application (CRM)

  • Assist in system configuration, testing, documentation and deployment of business solutions for Salesforce CRM

  • Lead system support needs, and act as liaison between Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other system support members

  • Play a key role in the development life cycle; requirements gathering, grooming, development, testing, and deployment

  • Establish and disseminate development guidelines, best practices and standards to ensure that technology platforms are performing optimally in coordination with team members

  • Coordinate CRM maintenance activities

  • Take technology platform administration initiatives with minimum oversight and be comfortable working both individually and in a team

  • Lead data projects and strategies in direct support of the company's key drivers and assist managers in completing these projects

  • Perform various duties and lead projects related to the CRM as requested by management

  • Participate in a CRM community of practice and practice development initiatives

Must Haves:

  • University education in computing, business administration or equivalent training/experience

  • 5 to 10 years of experience, including 3 years in a Salesforce administration role

  • Extensive experience with technology system configuration, administration, security and maintenance

  • Solid work experience in an Agile project management environment

  • Very high analytical and technical skills

  • Conceptual thinking and creative problem solving skills

  • Ability to work autonomously, in an entrepreneurial manner

  • Comfortable assuming project ownership

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Capacity to lead and influence others

  • Collaboration and negotiation skills

  • Proficiency in both the French and English languages (oral and written) is essential for this role, as the employee will be engaging with both internal and external participants who primarily communicate in English.
