Job Description Summary:
The Securities Data Services (SDS) group within RBC's Reference Data Service’s group is responsible for the management of the organization's securities reference data repositories. As a Data Analyst you will assist with providing reusable, authoritative, timely, comprehensive, and consistent securities reference data across the organization.
You will play a key role in the management of the organizations securities reference data repository. Success will be accomplished by providing reference data expertise throughout Capital Markets and the operational support of the Securities Reference Data Repository (SRDR) as well as other internal and external repositories.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide front-line operational support for securities reference data
Setup and maintain securities reference data for fixed income, equity, equity derivative securities, and that data is accurate and timely
Review/investigate data exceptions through the use of data query tools and remediate exceptions as necessary
Assist in the implementation of process improvement and system enhancement initiatives by identifying opportunities for automation and by researching the root cause of data quality issues.
Contribute to the department knowledge base by creating and updating documentation of supported processes
*Expected daily start time: 3PM MYT to support Local and Foreign Markets
