Job Summary:
The role of the Senior Security Analyst is to assist the Saskatchewan WCB in maturing and improving its Cybersecurity operations and practices. This role will help WCB to protect data and technology assets by identifying security vulnerabilities and developing action plans to address them. Interact frequently with other IT teams and with 3rd party service providers. This role will also assist with Cybersecurity awareness and training programs. Perform periodic vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and remediate vulnerabilities. Analyze, review and maintain the IT security practices, procedures, processes, and controls and will assist with the design and development of new security solutions.
Qualifications:
University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and at least one industry accredited security certification (i.e. CISSP, OSCP, CEH, SANS GPEN, GIAC-GCIH, etc.)
Supplemented with at least 5 years related experience in Information Security, where a minimum of two of those years was in a Security Analyst role, demonstrating the following:
Working experience with next generation antivirus, data leakage prevention (DLP), structured and unstructured data protection (UDP) technologies.
Demonstrated expertise in network technologies, endpoint protection, threat intelligence, computer forensics, and ransomware prevention.
Demonstrated experience in supervision, providing guidance and mentorship for employees and teams.
In-depth working knowledge of security technologies, testing tools & security monitoring solutions (SIEM)
Knowledge and practical application of industry standards regarding vulnerability management
Knowledge and working experience with identity and access management tools and controls.
Experience working in securing global hybrid cloud environment, including Azure, O365 and Microsoft Security (ATP, EMS), using CASB and cloud gateways
Experience with Digital Rights Management
