About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Software Test Developer to join our dynamic team at Encircle. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products, by developing and maintaining new test automation pipelines and mentoring teammates to contribute to our testing strategy. You will collaborate closely with our development and operations teams to crystalize a solid QA strategy and maintain a culture of regularly delivering high quality software.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Take ownership of test activities within our delivery pipelines.
• Adopt industry standard tools and best practices to build out new pipelines and expand test coverage that includes web application, mobile application, and API layer components.
• Collaborate with the Product team to understand software requirements and design test scenarios accordingly.
• Collaborate with the SRE team to ensure CICD pipelines run smoothly and efficiently.
• Identify, analyze, and report software defects, and work closely with the development team to resolve them.
• Participate in hands-on testing where required to validate and verify defects
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in Software Testing.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a software quality or similar role, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
• Experience end to end testing SaaS products with web, mobile, and backend components
• Strong knowledge of Software Testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems and version control tools.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or C#.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, Cypress, Playwright).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
