What you'll do
As a Senior Strategy Manager, you'll be instrumental in driving profitable revenue and market share growth while aligning with our overall Public Mobility marketing strategy. You'll take ownership of Network Revenue planning and Subscribers Planning within Public's P&L. This role involves collaborating closely with key stakeholders across various teams and business units, leading strategic reviews, business casing, and providing executive decision support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading cyclical (annual, quarterly, and monthly) and ad hoc financial planning projects, encompassing budgeting and forecasting for Subscriber KPIs and Network Revenue.
- Collaborating with Business and Finance partners to develop purposeful financial models tailored to Public business needs.
- Analyzing trends and variances, crafting compelling narratives based on business results to engage stakeholders in strategic decision-making.
- Supporting large bid proposals by extracting data, constructing financial models, and conducting sensitivity analysis under tight deadlines.
- Regularly presenting KPI and revenue results and outlook to leadership teams, ensuring alignment with targets, and creating informative presentation materials for stakeholders.
- Driving strategic initiatives across TELUS to enhance EBITDA growth.
Qualifications
What you bring
- Demonstrated business acumen, problem-solving skills, and advanced analytical and financial abilities.
- Proven track record in driving automation, efficiencies, and process improvements.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in financial planning and business case modeling.
- Exceptional ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives.
- Proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets, with expertise in financial modeling and data manipulation; basic knowledge of query writing (e.g., SQL).

- MBA or CPA designation
- University degree in business or similar
- Prior experience in telecommunications sector
